There is nothing more beautiful than an African woman rocking her beautiful fro. It is undeniable that a movement has started, where woman celebrate their natural hair…and I love it!
I recently shot with a ‘fro’ and it took me 6 hours to get my hair to at least look like some sort of ‘jerry/springy’ curl. Sadly, my natural hair is ‘wavy’ and dry, rather than ‘springy’ and fabulous…… oi! In an ideal world, I would rock this look all day, evrrrrrrry day, but let’s call a spade, a spade, and just work the best with what you have!Heeeheeehee.
Pleather dresses are always on trend, and a shift is a fab way to still add sophistication to what may seem a ‘very tough’ look.
Fringe is back, baby! So why not a cute cropped jacket with boyfroend jeans, and the imfamous ‘leopard’ heel?
That biker and statement – skirt – and – T combo! Yes – you need a biker. Its aseasonal and you can wear it with anything!!
If you don’t know it yet hun, the pleated skirt is here for life!
Sheers – Mesh, chiffons, eyelet mesh, anything ‘see-through’ is spot on trend this season. So instead of rocking it with a flat, I opted for a sneaker! It’s not only ubercool, its comfy darling!
Have fun experimenting with looks. Remember – dress for your shape, and use elements of fashion to complete your looks. Style always preceeds fashion!
